The wooden pieces are sturdy and the grooming tools feel solid in little hands, which is a huge win for play that survives daily use. My kid loves sorting through the seven dog breeds and pretending to bathe the husky, and it’s held up brilliantly after a week of rough play.

My only small gripe is that the poodle's fur snagged a bit on my toddler's fingers during play, but the set itself is sturdy and the variety of seven breeds keeps her engaged for a good while.
